Swargdwar is स्वर्ग द्वार - "gateway to heaven". In Hindu tradition the phrase describes the threshold a soul crosses at the last rites.
The places that share the name
Swargadwar, Puri. The principal cremation ground in Puri, Odisha, beside the sea and close to the Jagannath temple. If you were looking for the beach or the ghat in Puri, that is a different place from this site.
Swarg Dwar, Ayodhya. A second site of the same name on the Sarayu.
